With just over two weeks to go until Kate Miller-Heidke represents Australia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, SBS has revealed the local jury and spokespeople for the competition.
While 50% of the total vote is made up by viewers, the other 50% is decided by a national jury in each participating country. Representing Australia this year is singer Christine Anu, triple j presenter Lewis Hobba, comedian Mark Humphries, composer Alice Chance and broadcaster Mark Cummins.
Meanwhile after blowing audiences away with their runner-up performance at the inaugural Australia Decides event in February, Adelaide duo Electric Fields have been selected as the official spokespeople for Australia and will announce the country's allocation of points via satellite to those in Tel Aviv and the millions watching worldwide.
“We are so excited to be Australia’s Jury Spokespeople for Eurovision," Electric Fields said.
"It’s the music event that brings millions together for a huge camp party, right up our ally. Kate is absolutely stunning live and we know she’ll deliver a powerful performance.”
The first semi final performance featuring Miller-Heidke will be broadcast live on SBS at 5.30am on Wednesday 15 May. For more details, click here.
