Adelaide-raised, London-based house music DJ and producer Sonny Fodera has been named the headliner of the UK’s electronic music festival, Creamfields.
Founded in 1998, Creamfields has become the UK’s most prestigious electronic dance music festival, a four-day event with camping options that welcomes 70,000 punters per day. Creamfields takes place during the August Bank Holiday weekend on the Daresbury estate in Cheshire.
In 2026, Creamfields will celebrate its 20th anniversary at its Daresbury location. Last week, it was confirmed that global superstar DJ Calvin Harris would headline the Saturday event (29 August).
Sonny Fodera will headline the following day, on Sunday, 30 August. Fodera will close proceedings on the Arc Stage, and is billed as an “English festival exclusive” for Creamfields.
He said of the billing, per NME, “Dreams really do come true! I’m only doing one festival in England in 2026. I will be headlining Creamfields on Sunday on the legendary Arc Stage.”
Fodera added, “Honestly, words can’t really describe the feeling I have announcing this and what it has taken to get here. This will be a moment I never forget, and I know it will be shared with every single one of you.

Next month, Sonny Fodera is coming home for tour dates along the East Coast.
A quick tour, Fodera comes home after a landmark year that’s seen him start a five-month residency at Pacha Ibiza, launch his own festival at Silverworks Island, and earn a BRIT Award Song of the Year nomination for his world-dominating single, Somedays.
Fodera made The Music’s list of Australian DJs making waves across the globe earlier this year, with music journalist Cyclone Wehner noting that his success has largely bypassed the Australian media. However, he became impossible to miss by 2022 after selling out two nights at Brixton Academy with his mate, Dom Dolla, as a special guest.
