Sydney-based guitarist Andrea Krakovská hasn’t just made a name for herself based on her epic guitar-playing skills, but for her hanging upside down, 20 feet from the ceiling and playing the guitar.
A member of the Australian country group Southbound xo, current guitarist in Pseudo Echo, and member of the band Toxic Dolls, Krakovská also performs solo shows as an aerial guitarist. Her next show will take place on Saturday, 5 July, at the Arcana Empress Theatre in the Brisbane suburb of Moorooka.
Krakovská has long possessed a passion for live performance. She’s trained in classical piano and ballet, and a few years after learning both, she picked up a guitar and never looked back. Krakovská’s curiosity drew her to aerial arts, and after her first climb, she was completely hooked. Her solo shows now illustrate her lifelong dreams.
Krakovská isn’t the only one on the stage for her aerial shows. She’s backed by an impressive band, with Emma Louise Nagy on guitar, Renee Cobcroft on drums, Scott Piper on drums, and Elle McNiven controlling the aerial silks.
Last March, Krakovská performed her first-ever aerial guitar show in Parramatta. Upon announcing the show in December 2023, she said of the concert, “After 10 years of training and thousands of hours on guitar, I can’t wait to show you all what I’ve created.”
Now, it’s Brisbane’s turn, after Krakovská hosted the show in Sydney, Wollongong, and Melbourne. You can check out the teaser video for the Brisbane gig below and find tickets via Eventbrite.

The shows find Andrea Krakovská “suspended mid-air,” where she shreds powerful guitar solos while spinning in the air. It’s been described as an experience that’s “part rock concert, part aerial theatre, and all heart,” offering a full-body experience that pushes the boundaries of live music.
Each gig is a one-night-only experience for fans to witness something unlike they’ve ever seen, while the music stands out from her country and rock performances in the bands mentioned above. In fact, it’s sure to make instrumental guitar, rock and metal music lovers very happy.
