Staff Writer

Pond, Cut Copy leads the Australian charge of acts

Spain's Primavera Sound Festival, one of Europe's biggest festivals, has announced at least six Australian acts for its 2014 event.

Taking place Thursday 29 – Saturday 31 May at Barcelona's Parc Del Forum, Pond, Cut Copy, Jagwar Ma, Courtney Barnett and Gang Of Youths have all been announced this morning, as has Mick Harvey's Serge Gainsbourg tribute.

They join festival headliners Arcade Fire, Queens Of The Stone Age, The National, Nine Inch Nails, Kendrick Lamar and Pixies.

Pond, Jagwar Ma and Barnett are lining up strong overseas years, with Jagwar Ma also playing Coachella.
