These Aussie Acts Have Just Scored Some Touring Grants

A string of big and emerging Australian talent have scored grants from Australia Council ahead of their respective tours. 

Among the names announced today include The Rubens ($48,336), Mojo Juju ($10,740) to support Hilltop Hood's European tour, Winterbourne ($12,2865) to showcase at Reeberbahn and tour throughout Europe and Sydney duo CLEWS ($26,596) to tour and showcase throughout Europe.

A total investment of $6.2 million will support 201 project and development grants for individuals, groups and small to medium arts organisations. 

The Australia Council grants will also help fund some forthcoming album for artists including Ngaiire, Oh Pep! and Felix Reibl, who is working on the follow-up LP for his Spinifex Gum project.
