Brisbane band are UK bound
The Trouble With Templeton have been busy behind the scenes in the start of 2014 and the latest release is the video for Soldiers – a track from their latest album Rookie.
The Brisbane indie outfit recently signed a deal with prominent UK indie label Bella Union, the latest in a string of UK and US deals that is providing the springboard for their international assault.
Soldiers was recently services to UK radio and has been picked up by BBC6, while the accompanying video was shot in the band's hometown. The video was directed by frontman Thomas Calder's brother Josh (as with their previously videos), while Tom provided co-director duties.
“It's one of the most conceptually dense and patient of all our videos, and that's something I find really exciting,” the frontman said. “We made a conscious effort not to push anything on the viewer or make it obvious what you should be concentrating on. We're hope the audience finds something different with each new viewing.”
