Rising Australian Star Teams With US Rapper Vic Mensa For New Track

"’To The Night' goes through the motions of taking charge of the present and owning your truth."

More ASHWARYA ASHWARYA

Burgeoning Australian songwriter ASHWARYA has released a brand new song that features Chicago rap heavyweight Vic Mensa.

To The Night, produced by Jarrad Rogers (Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Icona Pop) and Lucian Blomkamp (Mallrat, 6lack), will feature on the 21 year old Indian-born, Melbourne-based pop artist's forthcoming debut EP, Nocturnal Hours.

"To The Night goes through the motions of taking charge of the present and owning your truth," ASHWARYA said.

"It’s about triumphing over personal or external obstacles that may hold you back. It’s a constant battle, but I hope people can see themselves as the main character in this song, coming through in total command."

The news comes after ASHWARYA featured on The Music's 25 Rising Local Acts list released earlier this year. Check out the full rundown here.

Nocturnal Hours is set for release on 10 June.
