Armin Van Buuren, CYRIL Lead 2026 Edition Of Hypersonic Festival

Hypersonic Festival returns to Melbourne and Sydney in November with Armin van Buuren leading a massive line-up of international and homegrown dance music stars.

After making a major splash with its debut in Melbourne and Sydney last year, hypersonic festival returns to both cities in November for another epic event.

The second edition of hypersonic will take over Melbourne Showground on Friday, 20 November, and Sydney’s Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, 21 November.

Presented by Symbiotic and Hardware, the festival will feature acts across EDM, techno, drum and bass, dubstep, trance, and other genres on multiple stages, with next-level production promised by organisers. Symbiotic, led by CEO Richie McNeill, is also the co-founder of both Hardware and Stereosonic, so a good time at hypersonic is guaranteed.

As for who’s hitting the stage, the inimitable, influential Armin van Buuren will headline the event for the second year running.

Dutch powerhouse duo W&W are also on the bill, followed by genre-defying artist Showtek, Australian dance heroes CYRIL and Timmy Trumpet, liquid drum & bass duo Hybrid Minds, a DJ set from Pendulum, and more, with additional acts to be announced.

Like last year’s event, hypersonic continues to merge a carefully curated mix of modern-day superstars, future icons, and pioneering artists set to make their Australian debut. In addition to the music, MC Stretch – the voice of Tomorrowland and Stereosonic – will guide the madness.
