8 November 2021 | 8:01 am | Staff Writer

"We have collaborated with some of the most exciting and innovative artists, leaders, industry professionals and third party experts ready to talk about what they do best."

The ninth annual ARIA Week is set to kick off from next Friday, 19 November, with a stack of live music, panels and roundtable discussions - all available to be live streamed from the comfort of your own home.

The events - which this year will kick off on 2021's Ausmusic T-Shirt Day - will present a series of talks and interviews from industry insiders and famous faces from around the country, addressing topics such as Working With First Nations Artists, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Cultural Change and much more.

ARIA will also host Nova’s Red Room ARIAS At Home Edition - with some of the biggest names from the Ausmusic landscape performing live online. Hosted by Nova's Tim Blackwell, the event will feature talks and performances from Tones And I, Baker Boy, and Vance Joy live from the ARIA virtual stage.

Other artists set to appear as part of the online conferences include Leah Flanagan, Emma Donovan, Sian Van Der Muelen (AKA Miss Blanks), Holly Rankin (AKA Jack River), and many more.

“Perhaps more than ever, it has been important for ARIA to find a way to bring the industry together in a meaningful way this awards period," ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd explained.

"Australian music is at a turning point and as such we wanted to curate events that acknowledge the work that has been done, while also guiding the conversation for the future. We’re excited to say we have collaborated with some of the most exciting and innovative artists, leaders, industry professionals and third party experts ready to talk about what they do best."

Herd continued, "of course, ARIA Week is also about celebrating the incredible work and dedication of everyone involved in Australian music through another difficult year, which I’m sure is something we can all look forward to.”
