Aussie Rockers Skegss On Track For First #1 Album With ‘Rehearsal’

Check out the midweek ARIA charts figures!

More Skegss Skegss

Aussie garage rock outfit Skegss are on track for their first-ever #1 on the ARIA Albums chart with their second record, Rehearsal.

The band almost topped the chart with their debut studio album, My Own Mess, in 2018, but it peaked just shy at #2.

The only other acts at this stage that has a good chance of upsetting Skegss' rise to the top is Evanescence, whose fifth album, The Bitter Truth, is also expected to debut in the top 3, while Michigan rapper NF is on track to debut in the top 5 with Clouds (The Mixtape).

Rounding out this week’s Albums chart debuts, Mike Patton-led supergroup Tomahawk are looking to debut in the top 15 with Tonic Immobility as Carrie Underwood’s My Savior and Benny Blanco’s Friends Keep Secrets look to crack the top 40.

Meanwhile, Tame Impala’s Innerspeaker and Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood are looking to re-enter the top 15.

Over on the Singles chart, Taylor Swift’s version of Maren Morris collab You All Over Me, Lil Nas X’s now-viral Montero, Maroon 5 and Megan Thee Stallion’s Beautiful Mistakes and Sam Fischer and Demi Lovato’s What Other People Say are all expected to debut in the top 50.
