Because EVERYONE wants to see the giant fire-breathing spider
It seems a 50-tonne, fire-breathing spider appeals to every age group, with Arcadia Australia switching the final day of next weekend’s WA festival to an all-ages event.
Kicking off next Friday and running for three days, Sunday 27 Nov is now an all-ages, alcohol-free event, featuring 15 metre flames, lasers, aerial acrobatics and live pyrotechnics to accompany the spider – made from repurposed military and industrial hardware – and Alison Wonderland, Carmada, Elk Road, Mashd N Kutcher and Calibr.
Opening night will feature a DJ set from Leftfield and performances by Shy FX, Loston, Black & Blunt, and Kovaxx, as well as a traditional Wadjuk Noongar dance Yallorr Keeninyarra and more, while Saturday’s festivities include Alison Wonderland, Carmada, Elk Road, Zeke Beats and Luude.
