More Anh Do More Anh Do

Vietnamese-Australian comedian, actor and author Anh Do has announced he'll be bringing back his award-winning memoir, The Happiest Refugee, as a stand-up show this June.

Having received rave reviews when he first performed The Happiest Refugee Live! back in 2013, Do will throw anecdotes of his beginnings as a Vietnamese refugee, arriving on an eight metre fishing boat with 47 others back in 1980, into a mix of comedy, photos and filmed pieces about his life.

The memoir itself garnered the titles of 2011's Book Of The Year and Newcomer Of The Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards, among a myriad of others accolades.

Do will head to The Star Events Centre in Sydney on Friday, 19 June and Chatwood's The Concourse on Saturday, 20 June.
