Andy Black or Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides announces national solo tour this August and September.
Andy Black — that is, Andy Biersack, frontman and founder of hard rockers Black Veil Brides — is heading to down under this year for his first ever tour as a solo artist.
Having penned four studio albums with Black Veil Brides, Biersack's solo effort is inspired by '80s synth and goth rock. With singles like We Don’t Have To Dance, Put The Gun Down and Homecoming King having already made a splash, the upcoming tour will be a chance for fans to hear some deeper cuts from his debut solo record, The Shadow Side.
With Biersack getting hitched just last week to fellow muso Juliet Simms of Automatic Loveletter and The Voice fame, the August tour might serve as a bit of an extended honeymoon for the Ohio native. The tour stops in at Sydney's Metro on 25 August, Brisbane's The Met on 26 August, Melbourne's The Corner Hotel for an afternoon show on 27 August and 18+ show on 28 August, Adelaide's Fowlers Live on 31 August and finally Perth's Astor Theatre on 1 September.
