The newly announced dates accompany the band's headline appearances for the inaugural 'An Emo Extravaganza' events along the East Coast.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Anberlin’s beloved second album, Never Take Friendship Personal. And in February 2026, the band are heading to Australia to celebrate the milestone.
Already announced as the headliners of the inaugural An Emo Extravaganza events in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane—where they’ll perform the album in its entirety—Anberlin have just added Adelaide and Perth dates to the tour.
In addition to the An Emo Extravaganza dates, Anberlin will perform at Adelaide’s The Gov on Monday, 23 February, and Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, 25 February. Early bird tickets will be available on Wednesday, 3 December, at 9 am local time, ahead of the general sale on Thursday, 4 December, at 9 am local time. You can find tickets on the Destroy All Lines website.
In October 2023, Anberlin’s lead vocalist, Stephen Christian, announced that he was taking an indefinite hiatus from touring, with the band welcoming Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire fame as their live singer.
Anberlin’s upcoming tour marks the band’s first visit to Australia since early 2024, and their third visit since their 2018 reformation. Their return also follows on from this year’s release of Nevertake, a re-recorded version of Never Take Friendship Personal featuring Matty Mullins on vocals.
Joining Anberlin at An Emo Extravaganza are Cartel (performing Chroma in full), Hot Chelle Rae (performing Whatever in full), Broadside (also joining Anberlin in Adelaide and Perth), and This Wild Life (performing Clouded in full).
