An Aussie-Directed Bob Dylan TV Series Is In The Works

Reports are emerging that a Bob Dylan TV show, thanks to Amazon and their burgeoning collection of original TV shows, is currently in the works.

Though there's limited information currently available, The Verge reports that the show is being developed by Lionsgate's TV sector and Aussie writer/director Josh Wakely, with the show titled Time Out Of Mind.

Producers have already scored the rights to Dylan's catalogue and it's reported by Variety that the show — named after Dylan's 1997 record — will be a drama, produced through Wakely's Sydney/LA-based company Grace Inc.

Wakely is currently also working on a Beatles-themed children's show for Netflix called Beat Bugs, featuring Beatles covers from Pink, Sia and Eddie Vedder.
