Michael Gudinski Named Australia's Most Powerful Music Figure

Over the past week we have been releasing the names of SPA and theMusic present the AMID Power 50, a ranking of the 50 most powerful people in the music industry as determined by the team at the Australiasian Music Industry Directory and industry consultants.

Today we can reveal that music industry veteran, Michael Gudinski of the Mushroom Group has been named the most powerful person in the Australian music industry. Splendour In The Grass co-directors Paul Piticco and Jessica Ducrou rank second in the inaugural list and promoter Michael Chugg third.
