Alt-J Sell Out Both Planned Aussie Shows

You're not out of options completely, though

Bad news, Alt-J fans — the wildly popular UK indie darlings have sold out both of their recently announced Australian headline appearances for the year.

This October's shows — at Melbourne's Forum and Sydney's Enmore theatres — sold out within minutes, though are not the only chance Aussies will have to see the Hunger Of The Pine hitmakers in the flesh this year; however, they are the only such headline appearances, as the next we'll see of them will be on festival-size stages for year's-end shindig Falls Music & Arts Festival (and Southbound).

If you missed out on the theatre shows, and can't make the new year's revelry with Falls, then the only other consolation we have for you is that Alt-J's eagerly awaited sophomore album This Is All Yours is only a couple of weeks away, set to drop into waiting hands in CD, double-vinyl and digital formats from September 19, via Liberator/Infectious Music.

Comfort yourself with some newer cuts to ease the pain, or head to our Falls and Southbound pages to suss out your other options for Alt-J experiences this year.
