"It gave me the confidence to push myself more and try and elevate things further as an artist."
Aussie dance powerhouse Alison Wonderland has achieved many impressive feats in her career and she now has another to add to the ever-growing list.
The Sydney producer has sold 20,000 tickets across two shows at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, set for 10 August and 12 September.
“To be honest, before the show went on sale I called my agent and tried to cancel because I didn’t think I could sell 10,000 in Denver," Wonderland told The Music.
"It's hard to get a perception of yourself outside of your own mind. So when I ended up selling two out it gave me the confidence to push myself more and try and elevate things further as an artist."
The Red Rocks Amphitheatre has played host to a string of gigs from legendary acts including The Beatles, U2, Daft Punk and Stevie Nicks.

Wonderland's shows will take place just days after fellow Sydney artist Flume performs at the venue.
Wonderland's rise in the US has been rapid since she became the highest-ever billed female DJ at Coachella in 2018. The LA-based artist has played to over 800,000 people across four tours in the States.
She will next perform in Australia at the debut Festival X event this November alongside Calvin Harris, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki and more.
