And catch her in the flesh on tour with Husky!
Melbourne-based songstress Ali Barter has spent much of this year beavering away on her sophomore extended player following a wildly successful 2013, and she now stands ready to unveil the first taste of her recent efforts with the release of brand new single and EP title track Community.
The single's drop comes with three performances remaining of her month-long October residency at Boney, as well as alongside the announcement that she'll be joining folksy trio Husky on their extensive national tour throughout November, so the timing really couldn't be better. Community is a finely pedigreed piece of work, from Barter's mature and engaging lyricism and performance right up to the production by Oscar Dawson (of Holy Holy, with whom Barter toured last year) and Matt Redlich (who has handled desk duties for Emma Louise, Ball Park Music, and Hungry Kids of Hungary).
Get amongst Community below, then jump across to iTunes and grab the EP on pre-order; it's out November 7.
You can catch Barter at Boney tomorrow, October 14, with Jim Lawrie; October 21 with Sunbeam Sound Machine, and October 28 with DX Heaven, before she kicks off her support role for Husky on November 7 at Castlemaine's Bridge Hotel.
