The ascendant singer-songwriter is setting off for a six-date headline run to welcome her impending release 'See You Soon'.
The next few months are looking busy indeed for up-and-coming singer-songwriter Alex The Astronaut, who has today announced a six-date headline tour in honour of her forthcoming EP, See You Soon, this October and November.
The news comes hot on the heels of her appearance on this morning's installment of triple j's Like A Version program, in which she performed her breakthrough single Not Worth Hiding and a stunning cover of Paul Kelly's If I Could Start Today Again.
With dates lined up in Brisbane, Byron Bay, Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne and Perth, Alex The Astronaut will spend the next several weeks ramping up for her headline run with showings at both Brisbane's BIGSOUND festival (Oh Hello!, 10.40pm on Thursday 7 September) as well as at Port Macquarie's Wildwood Festival at Cassegrains Winery.
She'll follow the tour with two more festival appearances: the first at The Plot, on Saturday 28 November, before ringing in the new year at Lost Paradise, in Glenworth Valley.
