WATCH: Alex Lahey & Fans Shares New Iso-inspired 'Every Day's The Weekend' Video

"I really wanted to bring other people's isolation experiences into the project."

More Alex Lahey Alex Lahey

Earlier this year, Melbourne artist Alex Lahey shared surprise EP Between The Kitchen & The Living Room which saw her reimagine some of her best-known tracks, including Every Day's The Weekend, Let's Go Out, I Haven't Been Taking Care Of Myself, Unspoken History and Wes Anderson.

Today Lahey shares the video for Every Day's The Weekend, showing Lahey and fans sharing their lockdown experience.

“After making my Between The Kitchen & The Living Room reworks EP in isolation at home earlier this year, I really wanted to bring other people's isolation experiences into the project," shared Lahey.

"With that in mind, I did a call out for videos people have shot of what they've been up to while in lockdown over the past few months. The response of people wanting to contribute was overwhelming.

"Thanks to the masterful editing of Nick Mckinlay, what has resulted is a heartwarming tapestry of the collective experience of finding fun and positive moments in isolation."
