Mexican-American rock musician Alejandro Escovedo has today announced he'll be touring Australia for the very first time next year.
The acclaimed musician, who's previously shared stages with the likes of Bruce Springsteen and John Prine and had his tracks covered by Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle, has now added a stack of sideshows to his appearances at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Escovedo will kick off the tour at Camelot Lounge in Sydney on Sunday 3 March, before heading to Newcastle and Brisbane. He'll then stop by Port Fairy Folk Festival, followed by two shows in Melbourne.
