Disco house night Comfy Grrrl has unveiled a smashing February line-up headed by local artist Adi Toohey and Melbourne’s Jennifer Loveless.
The fourth instalment of Comfy Grrrl will go down on February 24 at Tokyo Sing Song with producers – including The Music photographer Angela Padovan – aiming to “create a safe space for women to dance, network, collaborate and create”.
“We want to empower and provide a space where women can collaborate with each other across all art forms,” a statement from Comfy Grrrl reads.
“We work with all female crew of set designers for our venue experience, filmmakers for our projected visuals, graphic designers for our promotional material, photographers to capture our events and of course female DJs to provide an epic soundscape to our Comfy Grrrl Parties.”

It’s not a female-only event, but there’s a strict “no dickheads policy” in place.
