Adelaide Festival Reveal Kurt Vile, Toro Y Moi On 2017 Program

At the new Riverbank Palais venue

Having announced that Crowded House legend Neil Finn would be playing a free show to mark its opening night, this morning Adelaide Festival have revealed the huge bill on the festival's Riverbank Palais venue.

Among the list is US rocker Kurt Vile, chillwave connoisseur Toro Y Moi, beloved Aussie act The Bamboos and New Orleans' Hot 8 Brass Band.

Also joining the bill at the brand new venue are Latino Morrissey tribute act Mexrissey, Dave Graney & The Coral Snakes, Colombian salsa masters La Mambanegra, indie folk act All Our Exes Live In Texas, Electric Fields and Urtekk.

The Riverbank Palais will also have a solid theatre contingent, where you can catch The Duke, Who Am I? and Annabel Crabb In The F Word, the latter featuring guests like author Kate Grenville, filmmaker Lynette Wallworth, chef Christine Manfield and columnist Lindy West

Adelaide Festival's artistic directors Neil Armfield and Rachel Healy state, "We have such pleasure in delivering to you the heart and hub of our festival, our stately pleasure dome, the floating Riverbank Palais.

"Whether you're hungry or thirsty, in need of a thrill or a thought or a moment's respite, on the Palais or in the grounds of the Parc Palais that surrounds it, there's a place for you from dawn through dusk, to the small bewitching hours of the night. Come and join us. And come again. And again!"

Adelaide Festival runs from 3-19 March.
