In huge news for music students and the local industry, Abbey Road Institute Australia has announced it will co-locate in Sydney with Australia's largest recording studio, Studios 301.
Abbey Road’s specialist music production school - developed in the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London – will move into the Alexandria space from next year.
As well as boasting world-renowned Grammy Award winning and nominated engineers like Simon Cohen and Leon Zervos, 301 has worked with a stack of massive international and Australian names since relaunching in 2018 including Elton John, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Cold Chisel, Lizzo, Amy Shark and Delta Goodrem.
“I've been a long-time client and friend of Studios 301 and I love working at the studios and with the team and 301 community," Goodrem said.
“Abbey Road Institute students will, without a doubt, benefit from learning within the amazing facility and being part of the community as a whole. Many of my records and creations have come from this incredible environment.
"The team are the utmost professionals an artist could dream to be working and creating with.”
