5 Seconds Of SummerAussie pop-rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer and Adelaide-raised, now internationally-adored singer-songwriter Sia have been nominated in this year's Brit Awards.
5SOS, as they're affectionately known, are nominated in the category of International Group, while Chandelier hit-maker Sia is up for the International Female Solo Artist award.
The noms cap off what has been a big 12 months for both acts internationally, with 5SOS achieving impressive chart success in the UK, the States, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico and several other countries. Sia also enjoyed success both here and abroad, thanks to her massive hit Chandelier and album 1000 Forms Of Fear. She is also nominated for several Grammy Awards as a result.
Other artists up for Brit Awards this year include Sam Smith, FKA Twigs, George Ezra, Royal Blood, Alt-J and Ed Sheeran. The ceremony takes place in London on 25 Feb.
