"With more than 70 recipes, and personal recollections, 'Where The River Bends' is a little piece of our family, we’re sharing with you all.”
The shortlist for the 2022 Indie Book Awards has been unveiled, reflecting on the best Australian books published in 2021.
The Indie Book Awards were established in 2008 and recognise Australia's literary talent, judged by indie booksellers, the ultimate champions of Australian writing.
Music's very own Jane & Jimmy Barnes have been nominated for their book, Where The River Bends, landing in the Illustrated Non-fiction category.
Announcing the book last year, Barnes noted: "Jane and I invite you to share in a lifetime of stories, recipes and love. With more than 70 recipes, and personal recollections, Where The River Bends is a little piece of our family, we’re sharing with you all.”
The book sees the duo share heart-warming stories and favourite dishes.

This isn't the first time Barnes has seen success from his literary work, winning Biography Of The Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards in 2017 and again in 2018 for his memoirs Working Class Boy and Working Class Man.
