2017 ARIA Awards Scores Solid TV Ratings In Nine Network Homecoming

The ARIA Awards made its triumphant return to the Nine Network last night and garnered a healthy viewership for the 2017 ceremony in the process. 

As TV Tonight reports, despite not being able to topple the ratings of the ARIA Awards' 30th anniversary last year (its highest in six years), Tuesday night's show pulled an solid audience of 515,000.

The ARIA Awards posted its third-highest ratings in the last six years, sitting behind 2014 (570,000), but well ahead of 2013 (337,000), 2012 (304,000) and 2011 (369,000).

Seven's US medical drama The Good Doctor was Tuesday night's most-watched programme overall however, raking in an audience of 1.05 million.
