While short drama 'We Were Here' cleaned up

More Sons of Rico More Sons of Rico

When we premiered the latest film clip from Sons Of Rico, it was clear the unique offering from indie pop rockers was something special, and with What Am I Doing Here? being crowned Best Music Video at the 2016 WA Screen Awards, it’s official.

The music video – up against offerings from fellow WA outfits Fait, Safe Sex and Moana – comes from the band’s third record and directed and produced by Tara Fox.

The 28th annual WA Screen Awards were hosted by comedian Rhys Nicholson at the Heath Ledger Theatre where a wealth of the state’s best production scored accolades, including short drama We Were Here, which claimed Best Short Film (Drama), Best Performance by an Actress and two other titles.
