TikTok and Ticketmaster have announced the expansion of their groundbreaking ticketing partnership to over 20 new countries, with Australia securing a spot in the lineup.

Following a successful trial run in the United States in 2022, this collaboration is set to provide Australian artists with a unique platform to sell tickets directly to their fan base through the hugely popular social media app.

Certified Artists on TikTok can now seamlessly integrate the Ticketmaster ticketing feature to promote their live events and connect with fans on a global scale. With just a few clicks, music enthusiasts from all corners of the world can effortlessly discover and purchase tickets for events directly within the TikTok platform.

The in-app feature is poised to empower artists by allowing them to enhance their presence on TikTok, promoting live gigs to both their existing fan base and potential new followers.

The tool offers a unique opportunity for artists to expand their global audience and elevate their careers by adding Ticketmaster event links to their videos before sharing them with the TikTok community.

Since its beta launch, the partnership has garnered substantial success, with over 2.5 billion views of videos incorporating the in-app ticketing features by artists, sports teams, and event organisers, with artists such as Niall Horan, The Kooks, Burna Boy, and DJ Snake, embracing the innovative approach.
