SXSW Sydney Shares Schedule Three Weeks Out From 2023 Event

Three weeks out from its event, SXSW Sydney has unveiled its eight-day schedule to help attendees “Choose Your Own Adventure”.

Containing over 1000 “future-forward experiences”, more than 700 thought-provoking speakers, hundreds of cutting-edge performances, over 170 game demonstrations, more than 200 screen events and five exclusive gala premieres, SXSW Sydney is offering a lot. It’s too much to think about without a plan, so it's a good thing the organisers have got you covered.

In a list of must-see events chosen by SXSW Sydney’s Head of Conference Programming, Fenella Kernebone, Chance The Rapper’s keynote speaker speech, conference event The Future Of Journalism, Publishing & Trust In The Age Of AI, tech events Startups: Navigate The Entrepreneurial Landscape, Expert Practical Insights On and Big Questions with Adam Spencer including Dr Karl, the performance by 13-year-old First Nations rapper Inkabee, the SXSW premiere of music documentary ONEFOUR: Against All Odds, about the Western Sydney drill rap band, and game event Blood On The Clocktower Live are just some of the unmissable events coming to SXSW Sydney.

Chance The Rapper was added as a speaker at SXSW Sydney earlier this month. Speaking about the upcoming event, Chance The Rapper stated, "As we celebrate 50 years of hip-hop in 2023, I'm reminded of the transformative power this culture has had, not just on the world stage, but on the streets of Chicago's South Side.

“Hip-hop has provided a rhythm to our stories and a canvas for our creativity. I’m really looking forward to joining SXSW Sydney as a speaker to expound upon hip-hop’s transcendent legacy."

SXSW will take place in the heart of Sydney and will see over 1,000 events across various creative industries such as Tech and Innovation, Games, Music, Screen, and Culture.

Joining Chance at the event will be an array of headline speakers, including Slack Co-Founder Cal Henderson, futurist and AI expert Amy Webb, Coachella festival CEO Paul Tollett, and AEG Presents SVP Global Touring Michael Harrison, among many others.
