A highly respected veteran of the Australian music industry, Bronwyn Tasker has announced the launch of her newest venture, the eponymous Bronwyn Tasker PR.

Launching her career in the music industry in 2000, Tasker got her first taste of professional publicity in 2003, spending a year with Festival Mushroom Records as their National Publicity Manager. In 2005, she joined up with Sony, where she spent 14 years as their Senior Manager of National Publicity, and another six years in a Director role.

These decades of experience have seen Tasker work with some of the biggest names in local and international music, including the likes of the Foo Fighters, Harry Styles, Bruce Springsteen, and AC/DC, alongside other favourites such as Guy Sebastian, Tones And I, Tash Sultana, and Jessica Mauboy.

As a result of her dedicated work within the industry, Tasker has crafted a reputation for a strategic approach, which encompasses authentic storytelling and results-driven campaigns, and has also resulted in developing long-standing media relationships while delivering impactful coverage and cultural moments.

Following her departure from Sony in December 2025, Tasked wasted no time in organising her latest venture, officially establishing Bronwyn Tasker PR just last month.

Based out of Sydney, the new agency sees Tasker working with musicians, entertainers, cultural figures, and brands both at home and abroad, working closely with artists and their teams to create meaningful media opportunities that resonate beyond core fan bases.

The agency’s current roster of clients includes the likes of Amber Lawrence, Dami Im, Eskimo Joe, Kaylee Bell, Katie Noonan, Leigh-Anne, and Lenka.

“When I finished up at Sony Music in December 2025, looking back it really felt like the right time to close that chapter,” Tasker said in a statement. “The response from artists, managers and media alike was overwhelming, and starting Bronwyn Tasker PR quickly became a natural next step.

“I especially want to extend enormous gratitude to Roger Davies of RDWM, who I have worked with for more than 22 years, for his belief and encouragement in me setting up this business. His faith in not only me, but what I can offer as a publicist to a range of artists, is second to none – he truly is the best in the business.

“2026 is shaping up to be an incredible year with the clients I’m already working with,” she adds. “I’ve had the privilege of working with many of them previously over the years, and to have them on board at the very beginning of this new chapter to help share their stories is incredibly humbling - and hugely exciting.”
