Chris Maund, the co-CEO of Mushroom Music will be returning to the Board of digital licensing partner Merlin, being re-appointed for the 2026-27 period.
Maund is one of the many names included in the latest round of Board appointments, which comprises a mix of new and returning faces.
Newly elected names include the likes of Bugwu Aneto-Okeke of Nigeria’s Measurable Accurate Digital Solutions; Charles Caldas of Portugal’s Exceleration; Manami Ogawa of Japan’s STARBASE; Domino UK’s Rachel Buswell; and Sascha Lazimbat, of German digital distribution company Zebralution.
Re-elected individuals include Louis Posen, Marie Clausen, and Megan Jasper of respective US labels Hopeless Records, Ninja Tune, and Sub Pop; Carlos Mills of Brazil’s Mills Records; Golda Bitterli of Israel’s Revelator; Secretly Group Co-Founder and Co-Owner Darius Van Arman; Justin West of Canada’s Secret City Records; Pascal Bittard of French independent digital music distribution company IDOL; and Tom Deakin of the UK’s AudioSalad.
Additionally, Dan Waite of the UK's Better Noise, and Verónica Rojas of Mexico's Casete have been appointed as Board Observers.
Maund, who was recently named in The Music’s Power 50 alongside fellow Mushroom Music co-CEO Linda Bosidis, has been a part of the Mushroom Group team since 2003, taking on the role of Board Member at Merlin in 2018, and remaining in this role ever since. Additionally, Maund has also served as a Board Member for ARIA since 2022.
