With two months to go until this year’s ARIA Awards air live on our screens, the announcement many have been waiting for is finally here: the nominees for the 2024 ARIA Awards will be revealed next week, and you’ll be able to watch as the names are read out.
The nominees for the 2024 ARIA Awards will be revealed at 10 am AEST next Thursday, 26 September. The segment will be hosted by Nine’s entertainment reporter, Renee Bargh, as the nominees’ announcement is streamed live on the ARIA website.
Australian music’s night of nights will be held on Wednesday, 20 November, at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney/Gadigal land. Winners across 29 categories will be revealed, as well as performances and a memorable Hall of Fame induction.
The 2024 ARIA Awards will be broadcast live from the Hordern Pavilion from 5 pm AEST on Wednesday, 20 November, on Stan. A special presentation will also air on Channel Nine, with performances and other moments viewers may want to watch airing on the official ARIA YouTube channel.
Last month, it was announced that Missy Higgins would be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame at this year’s ARIA Awards.
Higgins is a nine-time ARIA Award winner, including the five wins she won on the back of her debut album, the ARIA #1 The Sound Of White in 2005.

Since the release of her debut single, Scar, Missy Higgins has been a household name in Australia. She has influenced her peers and the next generation of singer-songwriters, with Kate Miller-Heidke, Clare Bowditch, Amy Shark, Angie McMahon, Gordi, and Gretta Ray citing her as an inspiration.
Higgins said of the honour, “I feel very honoured and grateful. So many artists I love and admire are in the ARIA Hall of Fame, so it feels a bit surreal to be joining them. This year has already been really special; now, this is going to make it even more memorable.”
The complete ARIA Awards ceremony – including the early awards you don’t see televised on Channel 9 – will air live on Stan and will be available on demand following the official live stream. The ceremony will also be available to watch on YouTube for those outside of Australia.
