Hip-hop trio Hilltop Hoods are having a remarkable year, returning with their first new album in six years, that’s resulted in one of the fastest-selling Australian tours of 2025.

Their new album, Fall From The Light, was released last week (1 August), and it’s already broken numerous ARIA Chart records.

Debuting at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart, Australian Artist Album Chart, Hip-Hop Album Chart, and Vinyl Chart, Fall From The Light marked Hilltop Hoods’ sixth consecutive and seventh overall #1 ARIA Album.

The trio’s chart domination didn’t end there. Fall From The Light has seen Hilltop Hoods experience the highest-selling first week by an Australian Artist, and the second highest first-week debut by any artist, in 2025 so far.

They’ve also set a new ARIA record for holding the Most #1 Albums by an Australian Group, taking over records previously set by AC/DC, Powderfinger, Cold Chisel, and Silverchair, to name a few. And with their seventh #1 album on the ARIA Charts, they’re in fourth place behind Jimmy Barnes (16), John Farnham (9), and Kylie Minogue (9) with the Most #1 ARIA Charting Albums from any Australian group or solo artist.

“A massive thanks to all the people that have got behind the new record,” Hilltop Hoods commented in a statement. “We are truly overwhelmed with the support you have shown, not just now but over our whole career.”

Sean Warner, CEO of Universal Music Australia and New Zealand, added, “We remain in awe of Hilltop Hoods, their ongoing creativity, artistry, and work ethic, and are incredibly proud of the long-standing partnership we have forged with them.

“Defining and driving culture through their art, they are true music pioneers who have never wavered from their vision. They continue to deliver hits as fresh and relevant to their loyal fans, while appealing to a rapidly growing new fanbase.”

In February and March 2026, Hilltop Hoods will embark on a massive homecoming tour, with limited tickets only remaining for second shows in Melbourne and Sydney. All the dates are listed below, and final tickets can be purchased here.

Before then, fans can see Hilltop Hoods at this year’s Big Pineapple Festival, the sold-out Handpicked Festival, and Rolling Sets. This month, the group are touring across Europe.
