This year’s BIGSOUND has grown once again with an impressive list of conference speakers who’ve made names for themselves within the music industry, both at home and abroad.

Leading today’s announcement in the theme of “connections that count” are artists who will deliver unmissable conversations, such as Blur star and politician Dave Rowntree, Briggs in conversation with Kobie Dee, Tash Sultana returning home after selling out Red Rocks for the third time, pop artist Mallrat, and singer and disability advocate Elly-May Barnes.

Rowntree is scheduled to release his new photography book, No One You Know, just days after wrapping at BIGSOUND (9 September). The book will feature hundreds of photos and provide intimate insight into one of the UK’s biggest bands. With his BIGSOUND conversation, Rowntree will offer devoted and casual fans a deep dive into Blur's career.

Other music industry professionals appearing on the speaker announcement include Virgin Music Group’s Cindy James, CMA’s Meredith Goucher, Neon Coast’s Nikki Boon, Some Action founder Ollie Hodge (formerly at Polydor and Columbia), Drew Bennett (Q Prime), Cynthia Flores (Asecendente/MUSICMEX), Malfi Dorantes (MalfiCo/MUSICMEX), SXSW Music Festival Director Dev Sherlock, and Reeperbahn Festival Senior Partnerships Manager Robin Werner.

You can find the full speakers and buyers’ second announcement and the already-announced conference speakers listed below.
