Australia’s annual BIGSOUND conference has joined forces with CAST (The Centre for Arts, Science and Technology) to announce the upcoming Tech Showcase for its upcoming 2025 edition.
Taking place as part of the BIGSOUND festivities on Wednesday, September 3rd from 3:30pm-4:30pm at The Precinct Stair Stadium, the forthcoming CAST x Tech Showcase is now making a call out for startups building across creator tools, events, fan engagement, and the evolving infrastructure that supports artists.
Additionally, they’re also searching for innovative startups from across the world that are reshaping how music is made, shared, and experienced.
Applications to showcase are open now to BIGSOUND conference pass holders and selected startups, with interested applicants urged to create a CAST profile to do so by August 8th.
Four startups will be chosen by a selection committee, which also includes industry leaders such as Emily Copeland (ex ABC, ARN, CADA), Jaddan Comerford (UNIFIED Music Group, Side Stage Ventures) James Song VC, Visual Artist and Content Creator (New Renaissance Ventures), and Andrea Rosen (Best Nights VC).
Additionally, six further projects will be featured in a downloadable digital zine, giving them the chance to be introduced to the local market and broader industry network.
