BIGSOUND already entered 2025 with a bang by announcing its stacked program of music industry speakers for this year’s event, but today, it’s taking things up a notch with its performance announcement.

Returning to the Fortitude Valley in Brisbane/Meanjin from Tuesday, 2 to Friday, 5 September, BIGSOUND will host over 120 acts across 18 stages. The artists announced today span genres, from pop and rock to country, R&B and hip-hop to metal, electronic punk, and more. It’s a festival that will truly have a little something for everyone.

Artists such as indie stars Hatchie, Wafia, Azure Ryder and Eliza & The Delusionals will perform alongside country up-and-comers Dylan Wright, Chloe Styler, Robbie Mortimer, and Briana Dinsdale, while hip-hop and R&B will be represented by Kaiit and Inkabee. Meanwhile, growing bands like Bad Juju, Last Quokka, Mannequin Death Squad, The Tullamarines, and The Southern River Band will perform. You can check out the massive artist announcement below.

Tickets to the BIGSOUND music festival will be available from 9 am on Friday, 13 June. You can either purchase three-night music festival tickets, which will allow you access to all performances with just one wristband, the one-night music festival ticket for your selected night of the festival, or the Early Bird all-access delegate pass to access the BIGSOUND conference, festival, parties, network events, and workshops. You can find tickets on the BIGSOUND website.

This year’s BIGSOUND Co-Programmers, Casey O’Shaughnessy and Katie Rynne, said of this year’s music program: “We’re thrilled to finally share the BIGSOUND 2025 lineup with you. Curating this year’s program has been such a joy — the artists we’ve selected reflect the incredible depth of talent in Australia, and each one is doing truly exciting things with their music. We’re so proud of this group and can’t wait to see them bring the Fortitude Valley to life in September.”

They continued, “We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every single artist who applied. We were genuinely blown away by the quality, creativity and diversity of submissions — it made the selection process incredibly tough, in the best possible way. There’s so much talent out there, and while we couldn’t include everyone this year, we recognise the heart you put into your music, and we’re excited for what lies ahead for you.”

The Queensland Minister for the Arts, John-Paul Langbroek, added, “BIGSOUND is a highlight on our calendar of events, and it serves an important role in helping to amplify Queensland’s reputation as a vibrant cultural destination.

“The Crisafulli Government is proud to support BIGSOUND to back our local music artists, venues and businesses, while creating a thriving live music scene ahead of Brisbane 2032.”
