Australian-born, Nashville-based songwriter Jordie Lane comes in hot with a special single launch show, offering the unstable and off-kilter “Mood Swing”,  the opening shot from his forthcoming album ‘Habitual’.

The follow-up to his 2024 ARIA Country Chart No.1 album Tropical Depression, signals a clear shift in approach—more immediate, more physical, and driven by the energy of performance.

Determined to move in the opposite direction this time, Lane enlisted producer LOLLIES and bunkered down in Nashville’s ‘The Bomb Shelter’ to record live to analog tape with a full band. The sessions focused on capturing real shared moments as they happened, rather than constructing songs piece by piece. The result is a raw, unfiltered country-rock sound—with tape hiss, crunch, and grit—paired with the spontaneity and momentum that underpin Lane’s live shows and creative essence.

This single launch show brings that energy directly to the stage. New material sits alongside familiar songs, reframed through a looser, more instinctive lens, documenting a shift toward something louder, more urgent, and grounded in feel over form.
