Cult favourites The Early November and Hellogoodbye announce the Australian leg of their 20 Years Young co-headline tour. Set to take place in March 2027 with dates in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, the run sees the Drive-Thru records alumni celebrate the 20th anniversary of their respective 2006 albums: The Mother, the Mechanic, and the Path and Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!.

The Early November’s brilliantly ambitious concept record The Mother, the Mechanic, and the Path made an impression for its unique three-disc format and compelling approach to genre and structure. With each disc offering a distinct sound, and serving as a chapter in same generational cycle-breaking storyline, the album arrived as the group’s highest charting release at #31 on the Billboard 200 and is home to one of the band’s most enduring tracks,  ‘Decoration (Rock Version)’.

A sugary mix of synth, ukulele and pop rock, Hellogoodbye’s iconic debut album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! became a defining moment in the mid-2000s Drive-Thru era. Featuring their breakout electropop favourite ‘Here (In Your Arms)’, which reached #4 on the UK Singles Chart at #14 on the US Billboard Hot 100, the record’s endearingly upbeat and imaginative tracklist paved the way for a career that has spanned four studio albums and plenty of genre experimentation.

The upcoming run marks both bands’ first visit to Australia in more than 10 years, with The Early November last making their way downunder in 2016 as main support for Mayday Parade, and Hellogoodbye in 2011 performing at Soundwave’s Counter Revolution. Now, the two iconic, era-defining acts come together for three unforgettable nights of nostalgia for Australian fans.
