What was Zeppelin's best period musically? 1968 - 1975.

Do you have a consistently favourite song of theirs or does it change around? There are too many great songs to choose from. Every song resonates differently depending on how you're feeling, at the moment it would be Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, but it changes with time.

Which album of theirs would you give to a newbie who had no idea about them to best represent them? I can't cope with the ferocious power of their incredible live album, How The West Was Won. It has a tonne of Zep's classics that shows how rad they were live plus some killer improv.

Do you reckon they nicked Stairway To Heaven from Spirit? I've had a listen and I don't think so — I do think that Zep recycled riffs they'd been inspired from and added some magic, this article is an interesting read about it: turnmeondeadman.com/led-zeppelin-plagiaris

Do you try and belt out Zeppelin songs like Robert Plant when performing live, or you don't even try and compete with the Golden God's golden tonsils and just do your own thing? There is no competition with God. I would probably rip my throat out, ha ha. I delve into the song and learn what it's about then translate what that means to me and express it my way.

Should Zeppelin play another reunion gig? Only if it's with Jason Bonham on drums.

When and where is your gig? 20 & 26 Aug, Laycock Street Theatre, North Gosford; 27 Aug, State Theatre.
