Homecoming heroes and this year’s WAM Hall of Fame inductees Jebediah lead a stacked & diverse lineup of over 60 acts playing over two days.
November AKA AusMusic Month means many things to many people around the country. In W.A., one of those main things is the annual WAMCon and WAMFest conference and festival respectively, with this year being no exception as WAM are set to take over Northbridge on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.
After recently announcing their keynote conference speakers, today WAM have unveiled the full WAMFest lineup set to take over The Rechabite, The Bird, Lynott’s Lounge and Convenients, and as always it features a stack of Pile faves. Headlining the program are hometown legends Jebediah for a special ticketed show as part of their national tour.
Some extra special shows will be going down on the Saturday, with two new outdoor locations set to be activated. Museum Street will be shut down to host a street party with the likes of Ra Ra Viper, CHISEKO, Weirritt Blak and Ghost Care playing the ECU stage. Meanwhile at WA Museum Boola Bardip, a triple j takeover will feature the likes of Great Gable, DICE, Mali Jo$e, smol fish and ANESU.
WAM Executive Director Livia Carré said “We are thrilled once again to feature our triple j stage and introduce a new stage presented by ECU. I was stunned that we received over 300+ applications to play at WAMFest, highlighting the abundance of talent we have here in WA. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dedicated team here at WAM who have worked tirelessly to bring this all together. Special thanks to our WAMFest Programmer Luke Rinaldi and Event Coordinator Kimi Murphy for their exceptional efforts in making this event possible. We are anticipating an epic night celebrating the musical talent born out of our beautiful state of WA.”
