Tom MyersThe new music video from Tom Myers, the Papa Vs Pretty founding member who recently launched a solo career, was born from a love of ‘90s music and ‘90s music videos.
As the drummer-turned-frontman told The Music ahead of the music video for On My Head premiering, it was brought to life via a collaboration with Alex Bennison, a local filmmaker who Myers has previously toured with.
“We shot the video in various locations in Sydney, including my tiny apartment lounge room, a rooftop terrace in Petersham and some particularly colourful walls around the inner west,” Myers said.
“I really wanted the video to compliment the song's frantic energy, so right from the start, we planned a lot of overlays and different cuts. I think when you watch the video it feels very nostalgic, the idea being you turn your TV on and switch it to Rage at 3am in the mid-'90s.”
