The Melbourne classic rockers are just about to release their debut EP.
Melbourne classic-rock aficionados The Velvet Addiction have unveiled the video clip for their fresh fuzzed-out jam Stuck On You, ahead of the release of their debut EP, Volume 1, later this month.
Produced by George Carpenter (The Delta Riggs, Waxhead, Ash Grunwald, The Babe Rainbow), the song "is about the insanity that lies in being attached to the idea of someone rather than loving that person for who they are," vocalist Stefan West said.
"Stuck On You came about right around the time the band was pushing to find a sound that represented us: sleazy, riffy, upbeat rock," guitarist Aaron Bach added.
That vibe certainly carries through to the video, with the song serving as the perfect jumping-on point for those new to the band's throwback-style debauchery that adheres to their 'party first, worry later' mantra.

The band's Volume 1 EP will be released on Friday 27 October, and is set to lay the groundwork for their future together, being, at its core, "about us", Bach said.
"Not always prepared, not completely in time, not always making sense and definitely not trying to reinvent the wheel," he mused of his motley crew. "Just us: raw, honest and loud."
With their EP release around the corner, The Velvet Addiction are setting off on a five-date tour from Saturday 28 October, when they get under way at Frankie's Pizza By The Slice in Sydney before heading on to shows in Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart and Melbourne.
Tickets are on sale now. See the band's Facebook page for more information.
