'It’s Hard To Push Back The Fear': Jay Watson Steps Into The Light As GUM

VIDEO PREMIERE: The Spectors – ‘Borderline’

Kick off your long weekend in style with the smooth sounds of Belgium band The Spectors.

The outfit's latest video, Borderline, is a trippy indie rock journey fuelled by insanely catchy and easy-going melodies.

“We filmed the video for Borderline, the first single off OOH AAH AAH, in an old warehouse in Ypres,” vocalist Marieke Hutsebaut said.

“The warehouse, not even a mile from Menin Gate (famous for its daily Last Post), was built on the ashes of the medieval city that was utterly destroyed during The Great War and rebuilt from scratch after it.

“During filming, we used a 360° travel rail and to get the whole ‘London is a bitch’ vibe we edited kaleidoscopic images of the city into the footage."

The catchy tune was mixed by Michael Badger of Jaya Jaya Music in Melbourne, who is best known for his work with King Gizzard.
