Taylah CarrollAustralian indie pop-rock songwriter Taylah Carroll has today revealed the music video for her latest single, To Please Ya, which is premiering on theMusic.com.au today!
Directed by Nick McKinlay, the clip complements the tongue in cheek nature of the track, which is an exploration of the Melbourne artist's "people-pleasing tendencies".
"The clip is really jovial and silly," Carroll told The Music.
"Some of the imagery is quite ridiculous which I think really reflects the tongue in cheek nature of the track. I acted out two contrasting characters, which was really fun.
"Nick and I started referring to one of them as ‘Pants Man’ throughout the planning process."
Carroll will launch To Please Ya with a hometown show at The Old Bar in Fitzroy on 19 March.
