Watch those colours pop.
Get an eyeful of self-produced rapper Fresh Violet's neon wonderland as she lays down Gangsta, the second taste from her debut album, 50 Shades Of Violet.
Like stepping into a neo-noir video game, the clip has the viewer gallivanting around a strategically lit city, cut with Fresh Violet looking down the barrel of the camera while she spits her slick verses.
"This track has a real 'phoenix from the ashes' element to it. When I say 'they tried to bury me' that is not a metaphor. I’ve had to overcome huge setbacks to get to where I am but it’s only made me stronger and increased my focused," said Fresh Violet of the track.
Filmed by Melbourne-based visionary, Hoodwolf, Gangsta has a visually striking style that perfectly aligns with Fresh Violet’s unique sound.
