VIDEO PREMIERE: Sophisticated Dingo – ‘What Is Going On?’ (Acoustic)

Melbourne duo Sophisticated Dingo transport fans to stunning Yapeen in regional Victoria with their latest release for a much-needed distraction.

The endearing pop rock outfit, comprised of drummer Jimmy Medley and vocalist Lewis Matte, “had the keys to a private lot thanks to a friend of the band” and made very good use of it, as evident via the acoustic version of their latest single, What Is Going On?.

“We spent the day wandering about taking photos and recording a few acoustic versions of songs off our upcoming EP,” vocalist Lewis Matte told The Music.

“It was bloody hot and we were feeling it after a big drive. Our mates Matt and Tim kindly helped record us as we played through a few songs. We missed a few lyrics and hit a few bung notes but the picturesque location made up for it all.

“Looking back and considering how this year has turned out it was really nice to take a day in the sunshine to put this together."

What Is Going On? is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP, expected to drop on August 19.
