Sydney-based indie-pop maestro Pluto Jonze has unveiled a mesmerising live rendition of his latest single, Dot.

The new track is taken from recent A/B side Moonmaking/Dot, a taste of his forthcoming second record, Awe.

"The video involves a live performance on one of the longest lockdown projects ever - my Lightscape Piano,” Jonze said.

“Over the past 18 months I've partially deconstructed an antique piano and installed responsive LED lights. I've programmed these lights - with lots of technical and motivational help from friends and family - to react to the music when played, to give an interactive visual compliment to the live performances of these songs.

“Acoustic pianos really are works of art in their own right and the old ones each have such a unique charm in their construction that I really wanted to illuminate with this project. Also, I can’t help lugging heavy shit around! First the vintage TV sets - and now THIS!"
