The PhazesSydney indie rock outfit The Phazes stick to their DIY roots with the clip for new single Hollywood.
Premiering today via The Music, the band filmed the entire thing in their Sydney apartment, using a green screen made out of cardboard and old footage from LA.
“We’ve always been a DIY band and shooting the video clip for Hollywood was no different,” vocalist Hayden Byrnes told The Music.
“Conveniently, Liam had just recently moved out of the flat he was sharing with Hayden, creating the perfect space to shoot the video. We set up the green screen in the empty room and ripped straight in.
“We sourced a variety of ‘80s clips to feature in the video which we felt was an appropriate theme for the song.”
